How long can you keep an egg

I ordered some egg off ebay and some came today but waiting for more tomorrow,So how long can keep and egg befor you put an egg in the incubator ?

The sooner the better. They will lose some viability with time. The sooner they go in the bator, the better your hatch rate will be. JMHO.

They need to rest for a while (big end up) after being mailed anyway. I'd sure wait for the others to arrive if its ony a day. It will be much easier at hatch time if they're all on the same schedule.
