how long can you keep eggs before they go in the bator?

How long can you have eggs before going into the bator?I have eggs coming from a couple of different places on different days this week and am unsure how to store them

My own eggs I don't like to let set more than 6 or 7 days. Shipped eggs I let set for about 6 hours or so and then I put them in. They're usually hitting the 7+ day mark by the time you get them and with shipped eggs you already have a lower hatch rate.
