Hi.
I hope I put this in the right section. I just found out I have 3 roosters, one is a BR and 2 are jersey giants. I have only 2 jersey giant hens. They are only about 4 or 5 weeks old right now. How long can I keep them all together before I start having problems. They are the only chickens I have at the moment.
Thanks.

So long as you understand they are going to establish a pecking order so will fuss and fight with each other until they do you can keep them together right on. Usually if they're raised together as chicks there won't be much fighting. Just the occasional squabble.

Agreed. And if there no ladies, they will fight less.

That would be wonderful if they all get along. They have been together since they were a day old or so. I will watch them and see how it goes. I do have horses and while they are establishing pecking order it can get pretty rough, but then it is fine. Thanks so much

We have 11 Roo's and 26 Hens, they are from 3 different batches of chicks, but all 1-2 years old-- no major fights-- an occasional squabble when a youngster tries getting uppity-- then our "Peacemaker" Elvis the Black Silke Steps in.. and all is back to Normal! We have only 1 Roo that is a Problem-- so for now-- he is Penned... but looking Like he's going to be supper soon!
