How long do I give eggs to hatch in my incubator?

Hello!! I have some eggs in the incubator, and it’s been 21 days. I was just wondering on how long I should leave it on after most of them hatch? I still have a few that had a lot of growth the last time I candled them but haven’t hatched yet. I have had about 5 out of 11 hatch. So I didn’t want to possibly not let them hatch cause I turned it off to soon.

I usually leave them untill 23 days just in case! If its longer then that the chick is not gonna make it.

Depends on your hatching window, I rotate my eggs around the incubator daily so cold or warm spots don’t impact any one egg overly much and this last hatch 7/9 eggs hatched within 8 hours while the other two hadn’t even pipped. I candled, closely examined and felt shells to be sure, one was obviously dead, too much fluid, but water candled both, both late embryonic deaths. If you don’t do that I’d give them 48-72 hours to at least pip, if no progress, Recandle and see if anything looks odd, only water candle if you are certain there are no holes or cracks or if you plan on turning off the incubator regardless, drowning can happen.
