How Long Do I Gotta?

Okay guys I have a question.
I currently have 13 chicks in my brooder. I wanna move them to my coop which is currently bird free.

They are about 6 weeks old. I can if needed, completely close the coop off so they can't go out without my knowledge. I assume leaving them in the coop should be fine since I can close it. I am hoping to teach them, this is home kinda thing. I need to get them out of the brooder cause I wanna start another batch of around 20 chicks.

So I guess my real question is how long do I gotta baby these birds?

Not sure if it matters, but they are RIR's and 2 BR's.

From my experience....I will put my biddies out when fully feathered on the body, or at least close to it. just remember the snakes are starting to crawl.
