I've moved the light up every week as recommended and my buttons are now 4 weeks old. I'm thinking of pulling the light up at this time. What do you guys think? They have almost all of their feathers now!

I think I only kept mine on for 3 weeks. If not you should be able to tell by them hudleing up and acting cold.

yeah by three weeks I pull the heat lamp

Unless your house is like deathly cold you'll be fine. I even put three weekers outside (not this time of year though when it's a lil warmer).

So, Niki, how warm is "warm enough" to put them outside? I'm in AZ, so it's already into the 80-90's during the day, but drops down to mid 50's at night. My 30 coturnix will be three weeks old a week from tomorrow.

I bring mine down to room temperature so it takes me this time of year when it is cooler in the house about 4 weeks

Well in that case, I'd put them out at 3 1/2 weeks old if it was me. (a half just to make me feel safer HAHA).

*jealous you got it so warm... but not suprised either lol*
