How Long Do I Wait???

My duck eggs were due to hatch yesterday May 18th. To my surprise Sunday the 16th I heard this peeping coming from the bator. Sure enough I had a little duck trying to break the shell. After a long day of waiting, around 8 pm Uno was hatched. What a little darling, my first baby from the bator. The 17th I had another one hatch, a real sweety. I have 10 eggs left in the bator, I have heard nothing, I listen and shine my flashlight on the remaining eggs, thinking I may stimulate one to start pipping. How long should I wait? I don't want to give up to soon, can I safely candle the remaining eggs?

Candle them, and then spray any still good eggs with a misting of water beofre closong up the bator again.. It will at least stop you worry and concern- and allow you to turn the incubator off if none of the eggs are any good . My last hatch- I had one egg hatch late. It pipped back to front - and was three days later then the others...But perfectly healthy.
