How long do you give starter feed?

and then what type of food comes next.......? my chickens will be layers & they are 4 & 5 wks old

I am not experienced with chickens, but this is what I've read:
Chick Starter to 7 weeks old
Pullet Grower from 7 weeks to laying age
(I bought a starter/grower, it was all this feed store had)
Layer ration from laying age
