I will get my geese end of April, so weather should be fairly nice and not too cold anymore.
How long do you usually keep them in the brooder or with a heat source?

Geese grow so fast it will boggle your mind!

I would plan on having them someplace completely sheltered, with heat, for the first two weeks. After that it depends on what your temps are.

If you have 80 degree summers, you might not need any heat after the first two weeks, but do watch them for comfort level, and they will need a sheltered wind free spot.

In Northern Indiana when I had goslings at the end of April they were out on warm days and in the brooder at night. The first two weeks they were only out for very short times.
