How long do you let your eggs rest before setting them?

I was wondering how long you let your eggs settle after shipping before setting them in the incubator.

I was told 24 hours.

No longer than 24 without tilting? I let the last batch rest for 3 days and they were fine

I let my welsummer sit for for 5 days after I got them so they would go into the bator at the same time with silkie eggs. I didn't want a staggered hatch so had to wait for silkies to arrive first. I set 12 welsummer eggs and so far 9 look great and 3 I can't tell they are to dark to see in. But it's up to you most people only let them set for 24 hours.

I've let them settle as little as five hours after shipping and had a great hatch. Those were the eggs that Suede and siblings came from.

I have put them in the incubator in as little as 6 hours.
Usually between 6 - 14 hours

I usally wait only 12 hours but I set my last batch in 6 hours and had a great hatch.
