how long does your hatch last?

Let's just say you set 2 dozen eggs. On day 21 the hatch begins, with the first pip. On average, how much time does it usually take for the last one to hatch, from start to finish? I'm just curious as to everyone elses results.

I usually give them 48 hrs from first pip to last out.

Occasionally I have some that hatch a day before the others, and some that hatch a day or two after, but most of them hatch within 24 hours. I still leave them in there till day 23, just to make sure.

If the incubator has been held pretty stable, it's usually within 24 -48 hours for chickens. With the bobwhite quail, mine all pip, then as if someone fires a starting shot they're all hatched within an hour!

Talk about "popping"!
