Hi
first time hatcher!!! I set some eggs yesterday at about 100 it took all day for temp to come back up and then it went a bit high so had to adjust a little.
I have more eggs coming next week. they were all suposed to ship today but one seller jumped the gun on me. and shipped wed last wee so they are in.
when I set the next bunch is the temp drop till they get up to temp gonna hurt the eggs I have in now?
Temp in bator was stable over night at 101.2 in a still air little giant humidity stayed at about 40-45%

Yes, your temps and humidity are going to drop and it will probably take hours for it to come back up to the correct ranges. Take extra care as staggered hatches aren't a good idea for newbie chicken incubations!!!

your results will improve if you staggar your hatches by at least 3 or more days..

the temporary drop in temp should not be a problem.. with the warm eggs in the bator the temp should bounce back quickly..

You can add the eggs through one of the windows, then you won't lose as much heat as if you take the lid off..
