How long in an incubator does it take...

For eggs to become rotten? How long before they will explode?


I have one or two that I think might be clears, but I am already on day 15 and none are oozing or smell bad... ?

if you know they're clear, why don't you take them out...?

depends on a lot of things, something the egg is rotten right from the get-go and will start to smell after being in the bator only a few days. Sometimes the embryo dies at different stages and then goes rotten.

just sayin' because the first time i candled my eggs, i knew which ones were clear and which ones growing...

This is my first ever hatch and I left all of mine too. Just in case.

by day 15 you'll know. Candle an egg that hasnt been in the bator, it will be clear with no darkness inside. An egg on day 15 will be mostly black on the inside from the chick.
