After hatching eggs how long should I leave the chicks in the incubator? Should I leave them in the incubator for 24 hours or move them straight to the brooder? Also should I take the empty eggshells out of the incubator?
My incubator is a brinsea mini eco advanced.
Many thanks :)

Just until they're dry. You could take the egg shells out of the incubator. I do when I hatch eggs. Congrats on your babies! (:

I started keeping mine in there for the entire hatch. Or until day 23. Its just easier than having to fight with the humidity again.

If you have the humidity pump with your Brinsae you don't have to worry, it recovers very quick. However, I don't remove any while one is actively zipping or has a pretty good hole. But my Brinsea barely misses a beat!
