How Long in Transit is Too Long?

I bought some VERY expensive Cream Legbar hatching eggs on line. They will be in transit for a week come Tuesday. Today is Sunday. The post office appears to have lost track of them.

How long is too long? Should I ship the 24 hour shipping rest and just get them in the incubator if they do arrive?

I would not skip the resting period. You should plan on a lower hatch rate with this long of a shipping period. I would not give up hope. People have hatched eggs that they bought at the grocery store. Eggs that were a month plus old have been hatched so don't despair quite yet. Wishing you the best hatch possible.
