How long is it good ?

My hens JUST started laying. I just found a runaway egg in the run and I am not sure how long it has been there. Probably a couple of days. Is it good to eat or not ?

What have your temps been like? If they were moderate, 60s or 70s, I would say it is fine. If it was warmer.... well then I'm not sure I would eat it? Most likely it is fine tho.

I have found an egg on the ground Veeeery rarely. I check their area out frequently so knew it hadn't been there long. I ate it.
