I am fairly new to chickens, my 9 "Pullets" I purchased last year were ALL roos, so I am back to square one with at least 13 pullets this time for certain, so now the question of the day, come August when they should be laying, how long can eggs be kept out of the fridge? I will be selling them to friends etc, and curious on when I should refrigerate them if I don't sell them all quickly.

I refrigerate all of my eggs. It preserves their quality longer. Especially when the weather is hot.

Counter storage doesn't necessarily make them unsafe to eat, but the whites and yolks will become thinner and runnier faster than they would if kept in the refrigerator the entire time.
