My grass has just been treated with pesticide so I have so far locked my ducklings in an outdoor playpen in an area not treated and I was wondering if it takes longer or shorter then 24 hours for the pesticide to absorb into the soil and safe for ducklings to forage again. Also I have just run out of my duck feed and since I don’t live anywhere near places that sell duck feed I have to order online and it’s coming tomorrow! What can I feed them for today? So far I’m feeding them rolled oats that were pre soaked with chick grit on the side but they just dig through it and don’t eat the oats!

Unless there is an invasive insect that is causing serious problems, I would let the ducks feed on them as they would do naturally while they are free ranging. :)

Most people with pets would have done their due diligence before spraying their yard with an unknown pesticide and or herbicide. I would Call your landscaper ASAP, He should have this info or a number for you to call to get this information. Good luck. :)
