how long the first feeding after the chicks (lovebird) hatched from the incubator?

why crop of lovebird chicks (aged couple days) there air? is it normal?

You have your work cut out for you.
every TWO HOURS
look for feeding charts on the net, look at more then one to make sure,to make they match up.the temp on food is 103, people willsay it needs to be higher or lower, I asked my avian vet she told me 103 so I use that number, the chart will tell you how much to feed them DO NOT OVER FEED THEM.sometimes the chart will say 1cc,but the crop might be full at half that amount, crop needs to be firm, and plyable.
If you have lovebirds and they are sitting on eggs they might foster the baby.
Its hard work but it is so wonderfull, take your time in feeding the babys you don't want to choke the newbies, they might not Bob their head at first,so it can be very tricky puting food into their crop st first.
