How long to change feed?!?!?!?!?!?

For how many weeks should i keep my chicks on chick starter???? they are 12 weeks old and they have snuck into the big girls eating place so they CAN eat laying feed(or whatever its called

) So how long should i wait?

Chicks grow at such awesome rates, that it's important that they have what's needed in the started feed to grow strong and healthy. I started mine on layer feed when they were about 4 months old...near the time that they'll start laying.
