How long to keep birds together?

Hi all! I have a group of 17, 8 week old Jersey Giants. Everyone gets along just fine still but I am wondering how long I can keep the cockerels together without having problems. I think I have 6-7 cockerels but it’s still too early to call on some of them. Thanks for your help!

I successfully keep a bachelor flock of roosters, all varying in ages from 6 years to 5 months. They get turned out every other day to free range and don't really fight, occasionally they'll challenge each other for a few seconds and then go back to foraging.

Have had some cockerels get rambunctious round 12 weeks.
Only time will tell.
Get a plan ready to go now, when it goes sideways it can happen fast.
Thank you. I have a someone who wants them but I want to wait to make sure they’re all cockerels (I have one or two that are questionable and 4 that are 100%) and to pick the nicest one to keep

while we’re at it what do you think of this one? It’s got waddles turning pink/red and I think I see some saddle feathers poking through. But I attached a picture of its brother the same age (photo not the greatest) and he is full blow cockerel already. @aart @3KillerBs

I can't tell.

Jersey Giants are supposed to be slow to develop so it could be a late-blooming boy.

Most of my Australorp and Australorp cross boys are showing saddles by 12 weeks.

Thanks! He might be one I hang onto longer just to make sure.
Females of most breed either keep a yellow or really pale pink comb till there about to lay. Which is 3 to 6 months.
I don’t have any experience with roosters but I have read that which is why I’m thinking cockerel as well.
