How long until my girls start laying?

I recently joined the backyard chicken family, setting up our beginner coop(yes we already want to make many changes!)and aquiring three 10 month old buff orpingtons. I know that they are stressed and need time to settle...but I am so excited to see that first egg! I have had them for 3 days and nothing yet...how long do you think until they have settled enough to start laying again???
Thank you so much....they have already made me so happy and reduced my stress level so much!!!

If they are 10 months old they are probably going to start laying, or are just adjusting to their new home. I'd expect to see an egg at about next week!

Thank you...I know that they were laying in thier previous home and figure they just need time to adjust to thier new home. Just wondering if there is a ballpark figure on how long this might take
