how long until speckled sussex get their speckles?

how long is it until speckled sussex chicks start to get their speckles? thanks.

They start feathering out quite quickly.... maybe week and a half two weeks or so? They have to be past the fuzzy stage to start seeing the speckles....

Don't worry about your Sussex girls. It takes months and months and months for them to fully develop their color. They change a LOT as they mature. Mine are still changing, and they're about 5 months old now. Of course, watching them mature is half the fun!

My girls are 5 months and they are all speckled some are all most white withe brown specks some are brown with brown speckles
