How long will a rooster fertilize hen?

I ask because I have a hooligan rooster that got in the breeding run/coop He has found a new home (not soup) but now I have to wonder how long do I have to wait for his “donation” to no-longer fertilize my hen’s eggs? I’m breeding her to different roosters to get my desired chicks.

Three weeks is consdered the average. If one wanted to be sure, I would go for four weeks.
