I picked up a new sweet Easter Egger girl yesterday! She's laying, so I'm wondering, how long will it take for her to lay over here? How long did it take your chickens?

4-14 days depending on her mode at the other place (laying vs broody) and her disposition.

Well she layed an egg today! So maybe your right.

I picked up 3 RRs last week and they haven't stopped laying yet. I introduced them about an hour before sunset which seemed to help with the breaking in period.
