How long will my hens be broody?

My speckled sussex and my golden wyandott have been broody now for probably a couple of months. how long will they keep this up? I'm only getting 2 eggs a day from my other chickens and they have had to make themselves their own "nestbox" under one of my flower bushes!

I wonder too - I have a broody sex-link. Man, she is persistent! I will not douse her with cold water as I've read that some do, but I do bring her out daily to force her to exercise. She always seems happy to be out and eats, drinks, and poos then goes right back to the box. Her poor underside is completely bald and she ruffles up like a turkey. Even though she's not allowed any eggs to sit on, she sits on air.
