How long will the bloody stool last?

A few of my chicks have bloody stool that I noticed today. I am treating them for cocidisis (spelling). How long after they are given the medicated water should the bloody stool stop?

It will depend a lot on what you are treating with and how far along they are. Using Sulmet, we find that they clear up within a day. Corid generally takes a little longer. There are other coccidiostats out there that people use but for the most part they should clear up within 24 to 36 hours.
