How long does it take for a chick to hatch?

Most chicks hatch on day 20-21. They can take 24 hours to come out of the shell.

from what i have read and the replys i have gotten it all depeands on the way you incubated. i have read that some had eggs hatch on day 18 all the way to day 28 for chicks. if temp was to low it will be a late hatch if a bit to high early. basiclly they come when they are ready although the norm is at 21 days. i have read that it can take them up to 48 hours to hatch all the way out
