How long can you hold eggs for incubation? And what temperature to store while waiting to gather enough eggs?

10 days at room temp. They need to be stored pointy side down and turned once per day until incubation.

I used to keep eggs up to 21 days in an earthen cellar - 65 degrees and 60% humidity (approximations), on their sides in a clean tray with bedding, turned daily. Always had high percentage hatches. Shipped eggs are another story.

Thank you for the info
