I kept mine under for 6 weeks. One duck will be very lonely. You should get it a friend they are social animals. One duck will also be cold with no one to snuggle up to.

Totally agree your duck would thrive better with a friend. Rule of thumb on heat is at one week 95f decrease 5 degrees each week till down to 50f but watch her for comfort level over or under heating can be deadly.
