how long??

What is the longest incubation time have you seen? I set my eggs on 4/23 so they were due on 5/14. The temps held well at 98-100. I locked down on 5/11. On day 23 =3 hatched, day 24= 1 hatch,1 pipped.I guess I am asking is how long do I give them? I usually toss them on day 23/24 but I've never had any go this long.

I would wait until day 25 and then candle the ones remaining. If there's no movement or pipping at that point, I would conduct an eggtopsy. Warning: not always pretty and can be terribly sad if there was a live one left.

Yeah I ran into that before.Last night I opened the one that hatched this morning(the chirping inside was getting weaker after 18 or so hours). It made it out OK but the beak is crossed so it couldn't crack the shell. I hope he can eat and thrive. The others in the brooder are picking on it.

I have some that have been in the incubator for 30 days now. I know their alive by candling but no signs of hatching. Don't know what to do.
