The chicks are due to hatch tomorrow but none or them have peeped yet what should I do what should I look for??? this is my first time hatching, I also have 3 more that are to hatch on Sunday any tips??? all of them are alive and move a lot when I candle

Don't worry! If they are only due tomorrow it's unlikely they will be showing signs of hatching yet and sometimes they don't show any signs of life until they start pipping. Good luck with your hatch and keep us posted!

Leave them be and let them finish cooking. Opening the bator and checking them is just delaying them a little more each time you do it. On day 18 I fill up the water wells and do what I need to to prep for lockdown and then I don't open it again until I take chicks out.

When they're close you'll hear them peep and you'll be able to see the eggs rock back and forth as they work on getting out. After they pip (break thru the shell) it can take up to 24 hours to hatch. They've got alot going on after that initial break thru the shell (absorbing blood from veins and yolk sac), and those things are important and shouldn't be rushed.

Oh, and if your incubator has been running a little on the cool side they'll hatch later than the standard 21 days. The opposite is also true, if your bator is running a little warm, they'll hatch early. Good luck :fl
