Hello,

I recently joined BYC and I am amazed at how many people are here, the plethera of information they can share and the amount of help that can be offered from chicken owner to the other.

Thank you!

I need some help determining if my cuckoo marans (which are a month old as of 4/4/2014) are two boys and two girls.

Two have a small comb the color of the beak, one of them has tail feathers, the other one is starting to grow tail feathers (I assume they are pullets). The other two, one has a super red comb and starting to grow red cheeks, the other one has a pinkish comb, their tail feahers are growing but, they look like little stubs.

I think they are boys

Because of the weather, it is in the 50's at night, I bring them in to sleep and in the morning put them out in their coop. Any help identifying the roos, is greatly appreciated, thank you.

In the second to last picture, those chicks are the Roos. Are the picture of the same 4 chicks in the black bowl? If they are the other two chicks are pullets. :D

Thank you! Yes, the pictures are of the same kiddos, one set of pics indoors and the last two pics are of the one I thinkn they are roos, but outside.
