If I want to see ducks, geese, guineas, or turkeys, the farm across the road has those so I get my fill of them.

19 pullets and 2 cockerels. Will likely have around 40-50 by late spring and then cut down to 25 by next fall.

71 Chickens, this is minus the birds I'm gonna be butchering.

I had to go count, haha. 35 currently (9 boys, 26 girls) but after I reduce to just the best roosters it will be 31. I may have to reduce them further depending on how the cockerels mature.

As of today, 7 chickens. Soon to be 9 as on Sunday as I’m picking up two absolutely gorgeous cornish bantams from a breeder! After this I am saying no more chickens, I got the breeds that I love and don’t need any more. Although that’s what we all say then we all get even more chickens

My problem is I love watching mamas and babies. I cannot tell a good broody no... Then you want to try all the color crosses, and you have to have some babies from your favorites because chickens live life on the edge... I started with just 9 pullets and an old man rooster, haha.
