Hello chicken people,
I have an A frame chicken house that is 15 ft by 10 ft. I'm wondering how many chickens can my coop comfortably hold?

Thanks in advance for the info.

That's a fairly big coop, you should be able to house a pretty big group comfortably. Will they have access to an outside run as well? I read once that 3 sq. ft. per standard chicken is adequate, but that seems skimpy to me.

Yes I let them out of the coop several times a week, and they have free range of the yard and surrounding woods. I have 10 right now but have about 20 chicks to add to the coop. I was just hoping they would all fit comfortably and we wouldn't have to built another coop. Thanks for the info. Sounds like I will have the perfect amount , 30, for my coop.
