I was wondering how many chickens would fit in this coop? It is 7x12. The dimensions are for the coop and run.

Welcome to BYC. Where, in general, are you located? Climate matters a great deal when considering chicken housing.

The Usual Guidelines

For each adult, standard-sized hen you need:

4 square feet in the coop,
10 square feet in the run,
1 linear foot of roost,
1/4 of a nest box,
And 1 square foot of permanent, 24/7/365 ventilation, preferably located over the birds' heads when they're sitting on the roost.

There are, however, guidelines, not hard-and-fast rules. (See this article for more about that: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/how-much-room-do-chickens-need.66180/ ).

Unless there is a lot more ventilation on the other side where we can't see it in this photo you'll probably need to add additional ventilation to keep your chickens healthy. :)

With a rough, eyeball estimate of the proportions of the coop and run -- guessing that the coop takes up about 1/3 of the total 7x12 -- you *may* have about enough coop for 6, but *may* only have about enough run for 5. However, my eyeball estimate might be way off.

Again, climate will matter a lot. Also whether or not you will consistently let them out of that run into a larger pen or allow free-ranging. :)
