I got my last order of chicks today so my final total is 16 chicks and 6 call ducklings.

What's the difference between a call duck and a regular duck? Sorry! Never had ducks, just curious!!

Call ducks are a breed of their own and are one of the smallest domestic ducks. The females were used for hunting to "call" the wild ducks onto the pond where the hunters waited. They are the smallest, but the females are one of the loudest of the duck breeds. I am still learning about the breed but so far I am enjoying my ducklings. They also come in several colors.
