How many chickens do you recommend for my set-up?

Lo yeah I learned that! The first two days they didn't roost so I put them up on the roost. My set up is kind of a table ... It had the roost with a poop board tray and under that is where I have my nesting buckets. They were squeezing on the lower boards where the buckets were so I removed the buckets now they roost on the lower level

The only issue there is most silks don't roost lol, they dog pile on the floor. In this heap of fluffy feathers.

Yes, but I was addressing the OP.


But seeing a dog-pile of silkies always makes me smile.
