How many chickens does it take...

100 sq ft, wow. That's less than I thought it would be. Using that math for 1/3 of an acre about 145 chickens could be sustained and there would still be grass. Seems like too many to me, I think there would be just dirt with those numbers, but I am no expert. Maybe I can convince the wife we need to get 135 more chicks so I don't have to mow the backyard!

Oh rats, I meant 1,000 square feet. So you can keep 14.5 hens and still have grass. Sorry!
