how many chickens go on a roost

how many chickens go on a roost. if you have pictures than can you show me

Hi,

Our littlest chicks push and shove and crowd as many of them as will fit onto their roost. They actually have 2 roosts but everyone wants to fit on the highest one. To be comfortable, only about 5 should be on that particular roost but the other night when I peeked in on them, there were 9!
