How many chickens would this house?

It's 5'11" long, 4'4" wide, and over 6' high.

It would only be used as a night time coop. My birds are in an enclosed run during the day.

I see you live in NC, not knowing what part you live in--but we have some really nasty weather-snow, ice, sleet, etc.. and I would think from time to time your birds will not be able to venture out...So, I would be safe and divide the sq ft by 4 and that would give you the #. If you crowd them you may have health and boredom problems..

It's really cute, where is it from???
 
I'm central NC, not too far from Raleigh. My 4 adult chickens stayed in the nighttime coop for 1 whole day this year, because they were afraid to come out in the snow.

They did fine though.

I found it at ToysRus.

If I can't find it locally and have to pay for shipping it, I won't get it. And I'm going to keep looking to see if I can find a better deal.
