How many Cornish X?

I have been raising dual purpose chickens for a couple of years now for eggs and the ocassional chicken dinner. I have an empty 8x4 coop sitting over an 8x4 run and I am thinking about raising some meat chickens. How many could I raise at a time?

I just finished 25 in a 4x8 hoop house (screen floor) and movable fencing for ranging. This, for my thought is a maximum, due to the poop factor. I like to do 15-20 2-3 times over the summer due to the mess--poop. Letting them range, even behind a temp fence helps to spread the mess. I assume your climate is close to mine, and if there is dampness they will smell without space.

Thanx for the info. I can fix up a temporary fence easy to give them some leg stretching room.
