How many days past 21 do you stay in Lockdown?

So I had 3 pip on day 19, 1 on day 20 and 2 on day 21 (today). They have all zipped and are doing well. I still have 6 left with no pips. How long do I keep this Lockdown going for the remaining eggs? I need to take the chicks out tomorrow as will be 48 hours. I don't want to ruin it for the remaining eggs

Any advice?

Take the chicks out and then close the top again and wait a couple of more days. They can take longer than 21 days. Give them a chance.

Most people will tell you not to take them out until at least the end of day 25. I have seen people post that they have had hatches as late as day 27.

Don't give up yet.

If there are no cracks or pips or zipped eggs, I would snatch those fluffy hatchlings out. It's when you have openings in the shells that it is pretty important to stay in lockdown.

I leave eggs in the 'bator until day 25 just to make sure I don't have any late ones.
