Since I can declare of some of my geese are terrible mothers and I can't do incubators because my town always have regular blackouts and I can't afford generators yet. I was thinking the next time I have multiple broody geese at the same time, I will not let the terrible mothers hatch eggs because they will abandon it if they see a gosling. I was thinking letting a single duck mom hatch them all.

I want to know up to how many eggs a single duck can incubate?

This is a problem that happens when geese share a common nest or co brood. They are genetically programmed to leave the nest within 24 to 35 hours after the first gosling hatches so that the goslings can eat and drink. If at all possible geese should have their own 'private' nests in separate areas.

Hard to give an exact number of eggs a duck can cover. Realistically it is as many as she can adequately cover and will depend upon the size of the duck.
