how many eggs for broody

I have a silkie who is broody nearly all of the time

, and I was wondering how many bantam eggs is a good amount for her to set on and still have them hatch?

As many as she can keep covered 100% of the time where no eggs peek out the sides. I say 8-10 to be safe if she's the size of my girl who is almost 2lbs!
