How many eggs normally do Jersey Giants lay the first week?

How many eggs do Jersey Giants lay normally in the first week? My 5 month old Jersey Giant just started laying eggs last Monday. I have six eggs so far. She's only missed one day. I had no idea they laid this much! She's an inside/outside pet. The lightest one on the left in the picture was the first egg she laid. It was smaller than the one today which was darker. Is this normal for the first week? Will she slowly taper off the amount of eggs? I've added a picture of the egg on the first day last Monday and then the last one I just got today Sunday.

Some chickens do lay like that.

She may taper off, or she may continue to be an overachiever and flood you with eggs.

(I've also seen pullets that laid like that for about two weeks, then stopped and went broody. But they were bantam that were very prone to broodiness. I would not expect your Jersey Giant to do that.)
