Hi, so i bout some land thats an acre lot. But for the front half im using for gardening, chickens, dogs and pigeons.
And all the back will be for our goats.
So its a bit over half an acre in the back. How many goats could happily be there? I want to have nigerian dwarfs and boers.

Depends. Are you wanting to try and pasture them on half an acre, or will you be feeding hay? If you want to graze them, rotational grazing would be the way to go, especially on such a small lot. It might support a pair of small goats this way. If you are planning on using the area as a sacrifice feedlot, you could get away with putting half a dozen or more in the area.

Id be doing both, feeding them and also rotating them around.

What is sacrifice feedlot?

A sacrifice feedlot is an area that is not grassy, as the stocking density is too large. With half an acre, to be totally honest, I would expect that to happen with anything more than a single goat for that amount of area. Type of forage, and geographical area both play a role in this also. Google "stocking density".
