I was laughing so hard I could not get pics of the chase. However, I got the before and after shots.
My daughter (age 11) took my SLW, Speckles, to school this morning for sharing time. Well, while walking to the school, Speckles thought the ground looked like fun and flew down. she was happy until the child decided it was time to go inside and then...THE CHASE WAS ON!
Minding her own business just being a chicken:
Then the daughter tried to pick her up to go inside and she took off! 17 kids went after her and Speckles was having none of that nonsense. Finally, they surrounded her and she had no place to go and was captured. After the kids captured her, a little swing on the swingset:
Then it was inside to wait her turn to be shown off:
Then being shown off:
We are back home in the brooder and feeling very important and special. I swear she cackled at the other 5 girls. Almost like saying "HA! None of you got to go to school."
