How many Suare Feet per Pea?

How many square feet do peas need for an inside coop, and a run? I know on chickens they need more room in the run. Thanks

Inside, enough room to move..heheh, I hear from so many the only time they go inside is some kind of storm..they love to be outside..but you know me, iam still learning ..pen area, I heard 100 square foot per bird

I honestly think this is something that will vary from person to person and their personal experiences. When we built our pen last year most websites I saw said around 75 sq feet per bird, and that is what we went with to start. We will be expanding our pen however it is fine for them. They have enough room to "get away" from each other if they want. The breeders we got ours from (two different ones ) had much less sq feet per bird then what they have--so perhaps that has something to do with how well they've adapted as well.

For the most part they do stay outside in their pen. We do feed them in the coop, and throughout the day they'll go in and out but even in the bad weather they are perched.
