i have a 20 foot by 15 foot area in my yard how many cornish x can i fit in there i here 25 in a 6 by 10 area

Well if you were to clean up after them every day you could fit alot. I would not raise more then 15 in that size. That would give each bird about 20 sq ft each for foraging and what not. You will still have a lot of cleaning with that many in that size of an area. you would not be able to d o a tractor in that size very well as the birds would have to be moved back over the same spots more then once during their life time and that would defeat the whole purpose.

If you look through the meat bird section I think you will get a variety of answers. I have never raised Cornish X.

Yep. that is what I say if you don't mind the cleaning everyday and the smell it would make. The factory farms do as little as 1sq ft a bird so they would get 300 or so in that area.

I think that you don't want to go less than 2 SQFT / meat bird.
